Fang Cao Yuan Chinese Learning is a subsidiary under Angel Education Group, Hubei China. Angel Education Group, Hubei China was founded in 2008 by Shirley Tang. Under her leadership, the group experience success and growth. Expanding from a single location to six across the province, employing over 100 people and broadening its programme from a single subject enrichment program to a one-stop education group. Over the years, tens of thousands of students had benefited from the programme, making it one of the most trusted brands among parents.
With the success in China, Shirley decides to expand internationally, making Singapore her first stop, Fang Cao Yuan Chinese Learning is established in 2021.
The Brand
‘Fang Cao Yuan’ was inspired by the Chinese idiom ‘ 十步之内，必有芳草’ from the Book of Sui, written by historian Wei Zheng of Sui Dynasty. The analogy depicts that there are many talents and every man is outstanding. At Fang Cao Yuan, we believe that every child has innate talents and we are here to nurtured and help them reach their full potential.
Fang Cao(芳草) also signifies a person’s virtuous character, and it is our hope that through our teachers’ nurturing, all the children in Fang Cao Yuan will grow up to be virtuous.

About Shirley
Founder of
Angel Education Group
Shirley founded Angel Education Group in China in 2008. She designed the group's learning technique and established the corporate structure. She is a qualified Senior Family Educator Instructor and a Senior Psychological Counselor in China. Currently, she is pursing a Master's degree at Bangor University to broaden her knowledge of the industry.

Our teachers are highly qualified educators who have spent a significant amount of time working with students at a variety of academic levels.
Ms Xu (许老师)
Ms Xu graduated from Southwest University with a Bachelor of Chinese Language and Literature. She holds a Junior High School Teacher Qualification Certificate as well as a Level 2 Chinese Language Proficiency Certificate.
She is a qualified teacher in China and has taught students of various ages for the past 12 years. She has also done research, trained teachers, and created educational resources for use by students in educational institutions.
Her teaching style is humorous yet rigorous, and her vibrant demeanor has gained her many students' affection.
Ms Lin (林老师)
Ms. Lin graduated from Jimei University with a Bachelor in Management , Mandarin Level II,Grade A and a English CET-6 certification，fluent at communicating in English and Chinese.
She simply loves teaching and has an enthusiastic teaching style and strong affinity. Her teaching philosophy is that the art of teaching is not only lies in teaching skills, but also in motivating, awakening and inspiring.
Ms Ai (艾老师)
Ms. Ai graduated from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor degree. She has 5 years of instructor experience in huge enterprises and 2 years of Chinese tutor experience.
She has strong affinity with children and good at communication. Her educational philosophy is to teach in good earnest，to communicate with warmness，to listen with heart，to recognize and develop the potential of every child.
Ms Hong (洪老师)
Ms Hong graduated from National Central University in Taiwan with a master's degree.
She has been working in the education industry since 2017 and has extensive teaching experience, particularly in instructing young children. Her teaching style is lively and dynamic, and she is well-loved by the kids.
Ms. Hong’s teaching philosophy is to provide education, speak, teach and write with warmth. She hopes that every child can enjoy the learning process and feel the warmth of the world.
Ms Cheng (曾老师)
Ms Cheng graduated from University Tunku Abdul Rahman with a master's degree in Psychology.
She has been working in the education industry since 2017 and has over 7 years of experience in early childhood Chinese education. Her teaching style is gentle and patient with clear logic and very approachable.
Ms Cheng's teaching philosophy: Teachers base their profession on virtue, and their hearts on love; teaching with truth, educating with genuine care.
Ms Duan (段老师)
Ms. Duan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Central China Normal University and has seven years of experience in Chinese teaching. She creates engaging lessons, helping students discover their talents and enjoy learning.
Skilled in photography, piano, painting, and skateboarding, she integrates creativity into her teaching. She believes play is a child’s nature, and as an educator, she is committed to lifelong learning, innovation, and staying current with new teaching methods.
